Huzzah! On September 10th, heyHabbo officially turns one year old! It has been a fantastic and busy year here at hH. It's safe to say that all of the staff, community, and even Benji, has had a great time so far. This past year saw huge campaigns such as the heyHabbo World Cup Campaign, heyHabbo Big Brother, heyHabbo Idol, to name a few. heyHabbo was also one of the first Habbo fansites to upgrade to vBulletin's fourth generation software. We saw huge expansions to our goodies section, and the introduction of a beautiful new splash page. You can look forward to another year of great competitions, events, graphics, skins, and other surprises here at hH. Member of the Month
Congratulations are in order for our Augusts MOTM: Jade!Jade is one of our newer members who has proven to be dedicated to heyHabbo. This multi-talented individual can be found chatting it up on Skype and sharing her wonderful works of art. We’re excited to have been able to have a moment with Jade letting her know the news. The following interview was taking with Jade via the announcement of MOTM:
How did you hear about heyHabbo?
I heard about heyHabbo through the forums on the StrayPixels group. I can't remember who it was, but someone mentioned that I'd be able to see other entries there. Of course, being the competitive and curious person I was, I had to check it out...and I'm so glad I did!
What’s your favorite feature about heyHabbo?
My favourite actual feature is probably the imager - it's so helpful to get all those poses and get pictures of any habbo. Any alt artist would agree that that is certainly very important. My absolutely favourite feature of all, though, is the forum and the beautiful community we have there.
Did you expect to be chosen as MOTM?
No sirree, I did not. I had hope that maybe a couple of my friends would vote for me, but I couldn't bring myself to hope for winning MOTM. I didn't win any competitions this month, so I didn't have any MOTM points, and I thought that had something to do with the final decision.
How does it feel to be chosen as the member of the month?
It feels great! I've had a rough couple of days in the real world, and logging back on to see that I've been selected as member of the month is such an honour. I'm so appreciative of everyone here on the forum, these guys are my online family and I wouldn't trade them for the world.
What is your favorite thread/section and why?
Definitely the Alterations forum! It's what brought me to this forum and it's what really keeps me tied to everyone. We have a ton of brilliant pixel artists, and I love seeing everyone's work. The kindness that I received on my threads for August's StrayPixels entry was absolutely amazing - the constructive criticism and support really helped me grow as an artist. I love being able to help others with their work, too.

I'd just like to extend my deepest gratitude for all the lovely members of heyHabbo. Every single one of you has something great to contribute, whether it's advice, things to make us laugh, the latest scoop, art, or just being a part of this community. Everyone has a role here, and I love that. Thank you so much. <3
